This 87,000 square foot health and fitness facility in Avon, Ohio was designed by Donald DeMars International for EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria,Ohio. The structure has a pre-engineered frame with a standing seam metal roof.   Unique features of this facility include a recessed pool, elevated mezzanines for a running track and other fitness activities, basketball and handball courts, medical and general offices, and other functional areas. The use of a pre-engineered/pre-fabricated building frame accommodating a combination of glass and other exterior wall systems combined with   aesthetically pleasing masonry detailing and dark green roof resulted in a unique building and distinctive look with cost savings.
